Nar phu Trekking

Nar Phu Valley Trek presents an extraordinary trip to the wild and not trodden area located north of Annapurna. Get an awesome experience of walking on the foreign and enchanting valley, Nar Phu . The valley expands to a gigantic area of high snowy white, antique villages and high elevated grazing settlements.

We will drive to Besisahar leaving Kathmandu and while driving we will notice trees, villages, rivers, farms as well as striking peak scenarios. From Khudi, our trek begins. The set there will present the first sight of the striking Manaslu range. We will also trek through rice terraces as we depart from Sirung and walk along a steep rock face, lush forests, and attractive villages.  While trekking to Dharapani, we will also walk through rhododendrons and bamboo forests. We will pass by the settlement named Tal lying on a flat area near to the river beach and at the foot of a large waterfall. Besides, we will have rising and falling trail before we get to Phu Village. Also, we will trek to Nar Village walking on steep path and passing Buddhist stupas. Here, we will also be rewarded by the glorious views of Pisang Peak and many peaks. Moreover, we will have a long day hike to traverse Kangla pass lying at an elevation of 5322m. At pass we will be greeted by Annapurna massif. We will traverse the famous high pass, Thorung La located at an altitude of 5416m which also rewards you with the exceptional high Himalayan vistas that are so enticing that you won’t feel any kind of tiredness. Visiting Muktinath temple is another appealing experience as it is a significant pilgrimage spot for both Hindus as well as Buddhist which holds a Vishnu temple as well as a monastery nearby.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m) and transfer to the Hotel in Kathmandu.

You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. Our representative from Destination Unlimited Treks & Expeditions will welcome you and help you transfer to our hotel after completing formalities. At hotel, you will meet our guide. In the evening, you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine in one of the first- class traditional Nepalese restaurants in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Trekking preparation day and half day sightseeing

Day 02: Half day Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After having your breakfast, you will visit most historical and holy fascinations in Kathmandu. Most of the places you visit on this day are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath known as 'Monkey Temple', and one of the large Stupas in the world-Boudhanath. Likewise, on this day you will also prepare for trekking and we will brief you about the trek. You can ask if you have any queries about the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03 Drive to Bhulbhule (820 meter), 6 - 7hrs drive, overnight Tea-house.

Early morning after breakfast drive to Besisahar then after lunch continue to Drive or walk to Bhulbhule. over night at Bhulbhule.

Day 04 Bhulbhule to Bahundanda (1310 meter)

Early morning after breakfast we get ready for 1st full day trekking. Sunny day it will be really sweating day for us. Over night at Bahundanda.

Day 05 Trek to Chyamje (1430 meter), 5 - 6 hours walk, overnight tea-house.

After breakfast slowly we get ready for another trekking day pass through Syange village. Over night at Chyamje.

Day 06 Trek to Dharapani (1920 meter)

Chamje to Dharapani. After breakfast we slowly start our trekking. , 6 hours walk, overnight at tea-house

Day 07 Dharapani to Koto. 2600 meter

After breakfast Trek to Koto (2600 meter), 6 - 7 hours walk, overnight tea-house.

Day 08 Koto to Meta. enterring Nar Phu.

Trekking to Meta (3560 meter), 7.30 hours walk, overnight tea-house lodge.

Day 09 Meta- Phu Village. Long Day

Meta to Phu Gaon (Village, 4250 meter), 7-8 hours walk, overnight teahouse lodge.

Day 10: Rest and Explore Phu Village

We spend this day as an acclimatization period for facilitate high altitude trekking. We walk around the neighborhood to watch the way of life and social practices of the area. We will visit Tashi Lakhang Monastery; one of the most established Buddhist Monasteries drilled down of the 108 world's incredible Buddhist Monasteries. Aside from that, you can likewise appreciate the all encompassing perspective of Mt. Himlung and different pinnacles. Overnight at the tea-house

Day 11 Trek to Nar Gaon (Village, 4150 meter), 6-7 hours walk,

After breakfast we move to Nar Gaon - Village (4110 meter) today. We keep strolling on a long however direct far up through the side moraine of Temdenzon Khola, on a fine way. At the base of Kang La. overnight tea-house lodge.

Day 12 Rest and explore Nar Gaon (Village), overnight tea-house.

Day 13 Nar to kang la Pass

Nar to Ngwal (3660 meter) after crossing Kang La pass (5322 meter), 8-9 hours walk, overnight Tea-house Lodge

Day 14 Trek to Manang (3540 meter), 4-5 hours trekking

After breakfast we will start to walk beautiful trail, where we can view Annapurna II (7937 meter), Annapurna III (7555 meter), Annapurna IV (7525 meter), Gangapurna (7455 meter), Tilicho Peak (7134 meter). Over night at Manang.

Day 15 Acclimatization day at Manang village.

The entire day we spend doing some fine day strolls and reviewing the radiant perspectives around the town and the day time is best to pick up elevation. By the day's end, we return back to our settlement and have a night rest. Overnight at Manang

Day 16 Trek to Yak Kharka (4080 meters) 5 hours.

Today we leave Manang, and the trail makes a climb of about 500meters to the Yak Kharka or Ledar. We make the climb consistently through Tenki Manang, leaving the Marsyangi Valley. Proceeding with the Jarsang Khola Valley, we achieve Yak Kharka at 4080 meters, there we see the many yaks and vegetations relentlessly more meager. Overnight at Yak Kharka or Ledar.

Day 17 Trek to Thorong Phedi (4450 meters) 5 hours.

After breakfast slowly trek to Thorong Phedi. Carefully walk there is landslide area too.
over night at Thorong Phedi.

Day 18 Thorong Phedi - Thorong Pass- Muktinath.

Phedi(4420m) – Thorong Lapass(5416m)- Muktinath(3800m)7-9 hrs. start early in the morning and follow the guide instruction is very important. Walk slowly and steady. Over night at Muktinath.

Day 19 Muktinath- Kagbeni to Jomsom(2667m)5-6 hrs.

After breakfast slowly walk to the Kaligandaki River, you may can find some fossils in the river area but you need to search sometime. Over night at Jomsom. Waiting for the flight next early morning.

Day 20 Jomsom to Pokhara.

Morning flight to Pokhara. After arrive pokhara free time and go for Lunch. Over night at Pokhara.

Day 21 Pokhara to Kathmandu by Drive or flight.

After breakfast at Pokhara we get ready for check out and drive or fly to Kathmandu. After arrive Kathmandu free time shopping etc. over night at Kathmandu.

Day 22 Departure to your own destination

Its time to say see you again in Nepali we called Pheribhetaula. We drop to international airport for final departure.

The temperature here can range from extremely hot (37-40C) in the lower Terai regions, to negative temperatures in the northern, mountainous regions. Feb-May & Sept-Nov are prime trekking times due to the lovely climate. There is ample sun in the day time, and only slightly chilly at night. Monsoon (June-Aug) can get very hot and humid-with showers usually in the early morning and late afternoon.
